My LAST President's weekly message for the Meeting of Tuesday, Jun 17, 2014 at Dangerfield's

Good evening and Happy Dad's Day to all the fathers in our club! I hope you enjoyed your day and relaxed.

Yes, it is hard to believe but this week I will pass the baton to Kathy Klehr as your next President. It has been an exceptional year,  and I have much to be proud of as the club did do so many wonderful things this year. I will be summarizing the year for you,  including how we spent the donations, thanking many people who supported me this year,  and you won't want to miss the killer video I have prepared with a great deal of help from Harold Armstrong. Many of your faces will be featured in the video! So, don't miss this week. I will be inducting Kathy into the Presidency. She will then have a few words to highlight what you can expect as she takes the reins as your new Prez for 2014-15.

This week you will be greeted one more time by the team of McBroom, Marschall and McNeill. The man who knows how to build stuff, Kevin O'Brien will be our Finemaster and "Hilarious" Harold Armstrong will lead us in song this week.

Just a note about last week. Valerie Huber gave her final summary presentation for her year as an exchange student. She did a wonderful job and the Ames family that hosted her gave such high praise to their experience with her this year. As Barb Brekke noted, "It was the best presentation of the year!" Valerie will be leaving the end of July. She is off on the East Coast trip now with the District Exchange students. You will get to see her one more time at a meeting at the end of July before she bids us goodbye and returns to Switzerland.
