President's weekly message

Hi All,

Hope you had a great Halloween and Day-of-the-Dead, one of my favorite holidays.  The crisp weather has me itching to bake.

Thanks so much to Barb Brekke for introducing us to Kerry Singh.  I had lots of fun with her "mini-workshop" on "Releasing Your Creativity", and learned a few things to take back to the office. We also welcomed Mary Hernandez into the Shakopee Rotary Club. Please help to make her feel welcome and included.  Joan's fines were a blast, and Mark's singing was outstanding.  I'm always pleasantly surprised by the topics.  

It's finally here - the week you've all been waiting for, yup, it's the LIVE AUCTION!!!  Jim & his lovely assistant Lee will showcase all the really cool things brought in by club members (don't forget to bring in an item or two or three).  They will dazzle you with their lightning quick tag-team efforts to urge you to BID HIGH!  Remember, all proceeds from the auction benefit our club activities, plus you get to bring home some wonderful stuff. 

Quick reminder: the Membership event is November 13 - have you handed out your invitations?
