President's Weekly Message

Greetings Fellow Rotarians,

What a weekend.  I spent Friday and Saturday volunteering for our Prior Lake Rotary club and their Lakefront Music Fest.  What an amazing event but most of all it was great time with fellow Rotarians.  Last week we learned quite a bit about a little hidden gem of a grocery store called Mazopiya.  Store Manager John Langham shared with us helpful information around GMO's, Organics and even left us with gift cards to the store.  I know personally I go to their deli and they have some great prepared meal items.  If you want to check them out go to http://www.mazopiya.com.

This week we will have Ibrahim Mohammed, as our presenter.  If you don't know Ibrahim, you will not want to miss meeting him and hearing about Shakopee Diversity Alliance.    This is one of the organizations that we support as a club and they are doing amazing work in our community.

Our Greeter's table will be hosted once again by Vanhout, Vaughan and Martini.  (Hopefully Vaughan and Martini will show up this week)

 

Finally we will have a special guest with us for our Tuesday meeting.  Our outbound Student, Mallory Glynn, will be briefly sharing about her preparation to go to Brazil this upcoming school year.  This will be a great way of meeting Mallory and finding out how we can stay up to date will what she is doing while in Brazil.
