Good Morning Rotarians, Families and Friends,

Another beautiful Friday morning. I hope there are great plans for everyone's weekend. It was another wonderful week for our Club. having Akina give her presentation...with her tears, listening to the STRIVE students and the 2 amazing stories, serving meals to over 100 people at Loaves and Fishes and it was all topped off by Sheila McNeill and myself awarding almost 30 scholarships from our Rotary Club to High School Seniors at their awards assembly Wednesday evening. Sheila was on stage for the STRIVE and Rotary Scholarship Foundation academic scholarships. What a week for our Club. Be proud to say you are a Rotarian and that you do make a difference. Needless to say, this Club is outstanding in so many ways....Thanks to all of you.

Next week is our annual Club Assembly, where we overview many aspects of our Club. We will hear from Committee Chairs and members. I will review our finances and 2016-2017 proposed budget and kick off the plans to put our visioning process into place for the next year. Please plan on attending to hear about so many things that we usually do not have time for during the regular weekly meetings. Its also a chance to become invigorated and become more active in the many Committees that do so much to make our Club as strong as it is.

Next Week's Meeting
Song Master - Alan Spillers
Fine Master - Barb Danielson
Greeter's Table - Libby Bergen and John Bezek

Once again, a fantastic week for Shakopee Rotary. We made differences in our community, in peoples lives and in our own lives. It is what Rotarians do...and do well!!

Regards,
John
