President's Weekly Message

Happy Friday to all our Rotary Members, Families and Friends,

 

A bit of a chill in the air for tomorrow. I am hoping this does not mean an early Fall...this Summer has gone too fast.

 

Thanks again to Barb Danielson for filling in for me as I attended a conference at Cragun's. Great weather, but had to be indoors from 730-500 each day. At the meeting I was elected to be the President-Elect of the Minnesota Municipal Utilities Association. Quite an honor to be considered for such a great organization.

 

I heard that Billy W. provided an excellent presentation on Bill's Toggery. There is a reason why his father always looks great.

 

This week our speaker will be Shaun Irwin, with the Anderson Agency. His presentation is called "Convertible Referrals" and will discuss the power of relationships and how referrals can change one's course in life. Please plan on attending and making Shaun feel welcomed by our Club.

Keep up the great work that all of you accomplish day in and day out. Remember that your commitment to Rotary has the ability to change the lives of others and create a positive role model to all those who are part of your life. Service above Self is a way of life, so try to appreciate yourself and always provide yours skills, wisdom, energy and fortunes with others...it truly goes a long way.
