Good Morning to our Club Members, Families and Friends,

It will be a quick message today as we are heading to Canterbury in a bit for our fundraiser at the Fall Craft Show. We have 7 people signed up and that translates into $70/hr for our Club. Please consider participating when our next Canterbury opportunity takes place. I have to say it...nothing but blue sky outside and a high of 63 today and yes it is November 10. Tomorrow is Veteran's Day. Take some time to thank those who have served our armed forces and those who have paid  the ultimate sacrifice for the freedom we all have today.

Great presentation at breakfast Tuesday morning form Stephanie Smith with the Southern Valley Alliance for Battered Women. After the presentation, I spent some time contemplating what our Club can do and Lee Hennen had  a great idea for a Bathroom Tissue Drive.  I think it sounds better than toilet paper...Lee's idea was to "wipe out violence against women". I will leave it at that.

For our second breakfast meeting our numbers were down a bit on Tuesday and maybe the Election day had people busy. Breakfast meetings will take place on November 22 and 29.

Remember our meeting next week is at Turtles Social Club at 12:00pm. It is our Senior's Appreciation Luncheon. What a great way to celebrate our most experienced and tenured members of our community. It will surely be a fun time with great food, fellowship and entertainment, not to mention Linda Plum's cookies. If you have not yet signed up, please contact Lee Hennen directly so that we can have an accurate head count. We will have a Greeter's table and no Fine Master. Please join us for a wonderful event and plan on putting smiles on everyone's faces.

Off to Canterbury...
