Good Morning Everyone,

Yesterday was a great day to be a Rotarian. It was the District 5950 Mid-Term Conference. I was joined by Barb Danielson and Chuck Berg. Barb was able to attend the Pre-President Elect training and Chuck and I attended the different District kiosks. Tons of fellowship and way too much food. Our District, our Club and our members continue to be outstanding. It is so easy to talk to others about the great things the Shakopee Club accomplishes...but there is always room to evolve and grow.

Thanks Barb for filling in for me again as I continue to be obligated by the new SPU Power Plant. It is Sunday and I am at work again, as we were able to run the new plant at full capacity for the first time and just 10 months after the construction of the site began.

This week will welcome Kay King, the older adult program coordinator and community educator for the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI) for Minnesota. Please plan on attending the luncheon meeting to learn about a very important issue that faces each one of us, in some way, either directly or indirectly. Let's make Kay feel welcomed by our Club.

Next Week's Meeting:
Song Master - Tammy Laurent
Fine Master - John Crooks

Here's to all of you having a great rest of the weekend and I will see all of you on Tuesday.

Regards,
John
Greeter's table - Joe Schmidt, Bill Reynolds and Ron Smith
