Hello Shakopee Rotary!

It's hard to find anything cheerful to write about after watching that football game last night...I'm excited for our meeting tomorrow, as Rotary always puts me in a good mood!  I want to thank Tom Melchior for coming in last week to speak about his new book, and the experiences he had interviewing Scott County WWII Veterans.  Thank you to Kathy Klehr for inviting Tom to join us.   This week we have another excellent program lined up.  We welcome Tom Laughlin, who will be speaking about the Principles and Practices of Servant Leadership.  Welcome Tom!

Book Sale Update:  For those of you who signed up to have a book collection tub and sign at your offices, we will have the tubs and signs available to take with you at this weeks meeting.  If you did not sign up for a tub and sign, we will have extra available for you as well!

Valentines Day Dinner:  Reminder that our annual Valentines Day dinner is coming up on Tuesday, February 15th.  This event will replace our regularly scheduled meeting.  A sign up sheet will be passed around at the next meeting, OR you can call or email Kathy Klehr if you would like to sign up!

Lunch Punch Cards:  Reminder that punch cards are now available for purchase with the Seargent at Arms.  10 punches for $125 (reduced from $130).  This is not a "limited time offer"....it is a permanent change to the price for the punch cards.
