Hello Shakopee Rotarains!

I hope everyone had a chance to get out and enjoy the unbeleivable weather we had this weekend. I think in my update last week I said something about turning the heat on...??? I was considering air conditioning on Sunday!

I want to thank our District Governor, Larry Zilliox for attending our meeting last week.

It was great to learn a bit about his background, hear some updates on District projects, and to receive an inspirational message. I also want to thank Larry for attending our board meeting and offering guidance to our board members.

This week we have our very own in bound exchange student, Emma giving us a little background on her and her native country, Norway. In addition, we will have a few updates from some of our committee chair members.

A quick reminder that we do have our monthly Charitable Gambling Committee meeting prior to our meeting tomorrow at 11:30AM at Dangerfields.

Reminder: Here are a some dates to keep in mind.

1. October 19th: STANS Museum Field Trip (Meeting will start at Dangerfields prior to field trip).

2. October 26th: Community Center Referendum Update - Brad Tabke (Dangerfields)

3. November 9th: Fall Auction - Jim Cook (Dangerfields)
