Good Monday Morning Everyone,

We now have a speaker scheduled for tomorrow. It will be none other than our own Barb Weckman Brekke. She will give a presentation on estate planning. There are a few of us in the Club that can use this type of information...me included. Please plan on attending this informative presentation.

I mentioned restarting the Coffee with Crooks, one on one meetings. This is a great chance for me to get to know you and what your thoughts are concerning Rotary, our Club and what it means to be a Rotarian. The coffee is on me and I will not ask for money...Here are some times that I am available. Always before 730 am and most days after 400 pm and weekends. During business days I will make myself available Wednesday afternoon, Thursday afternoon and anytime Friday. Next week, most any weekday is open. Please let me know what times and locations are convenient for you.

This is a perfect segue to our Visioning Process. It is scheduled for Monday February 29th, Leap Day. We will meet in the Shakopee Public Utilities Commission Room at 500 pm and complete the process by 830 pm. The meeting will be facilitated by Gayle Nokes of our District 5950. Gayle and her team have worked with many Clubs and I am excited this can provide clarity and a renewed sense oif purpose to our Club. We will be looking for volunteers to be part of the process with a mix of Club members. Listed below is the different types of Club members we are looking to participate in our Visioning:

Members with 3 years or less - 3 members
Members with 3-10 years - 3 members
Members with over 10 years - 3 members
Past District Governors - 2 members
Board Members - 5 members
Committee Members - 3 members

Please let me know if you would like to volunteer in helping our Club be all that it can be. This is an unique opportunity for us to build upon the great things we have done over the past 60 years and set the course for the next 60. If this doesn't make you want to volunteer, there is free food....Please give it a thought and participate.

Have a great day and see you tomorrow,
John
