Hi All,

Great turn out this week – thanks!  I learned quite a bit from our speaker Judith Brumfield regarding all the great work that SC Health & Human Services provides to our community.  Mark’s entry into the contest for longest song fell short of Barb D’s, but who’s keeping track.  Libby hit a few groaners as fine master and is in the running for the Harold Award.  Great fun all around.

Next week:
We welcome speaker John Rubischko talking on the topic of Ethics.  He has quite a story you won’t want to miss.  This would be a great time to invite a prospective new member to join us.

Loosen up those vocal cords – Jason Marschall is this week’s song master!  John Crooks will walk through the bar to bring us some “fine” challenges, and this is the last week for greeters Chris Kost, Chuck Huss and Tammy Laurent.

Mark your calendars:
February 5 – Rotary Happy Hour at Badger Hill Brewery http://www.badgerhillbrewing.com/
March 31 – Loaves & Fishes

News:
MAAP STARS needs judges – please see the attachments.  Barb Danielson was a judge last year and thought it was very beneficial.

NEEDED:
Volunteers to help plan our 60th Anniversary celebration.  The actual anniversary is in March, but we are hosting the celebration in May to allow us time to put together a successful event.  Please contact Deb Erickson for details.

Light UP Rotary!

Cheers,
