Hi All,

Thanks to Yvonne Anderson for agreeing to move her presentation up a few weeks.  It was very interesting to learn about the variety of care that St. Gertrude’s provides.  We are very lucky to have such a wonderful facility in our community.

I think Dave Ekart’s idea of “song-master” is a bit different; did anyone remember the words to “Peter Cottontail”?  Deb Erickson was a whiz at fine-master, bringing in quite a few dollars for the pig.

Next week:
Shakopee Celebrates Reading!  Remember we share lunch at Dangerfield’s with special guest Fran Heitzman from Bridging – then head to the High School for the celebration event.  This is such a great program – the 1st graders excitement spreads to everyone.  I can’t wait to see the Cat in the Hat!!

Thanks to those Rotarians that volunteered at Loaves & Fishes this week.  Your efforts are very much appreciated.

Mark your calendars:
April 9 - Rotary Happy Hour at Arizona’s
Now through April 24 – Book collecting!  We’re aiming for 100% participation from Club members to collect books.  Please contact Gary Martini to be sure your name is on the list as hosting a collection site.  PLUS – having your name on the list enters you into a drawing for some very cool prizes!
