President's Weekly Message

Hi All,

What a wonderful meeting last week. It’s such a pleasure to honor one of our own members – Ron Smith - especially when we pull off a surprise! Thanks to Harold Armstrong for putting together the very cool video tribute, Barb Brekke for the cake & Chris Kost for video recording.

 

Special thanks to everyone involved in the book sale… co-chairs Harold Armstrong & Gary Martini, Sheila McNeill for securing a fantastic space & organizing preview night, Libby Bergan for volunteer coordination, Deb Erickson for promotion & Everyone else.  CONGRATULATIONS! We beat our goal and surpassed sales from last year.  Well Done!

It’s the Annual Spring Auction!  I look forward to these auctions not only for the great items, but I really enjoy Jim Cook & Lee Hennen’s snarky humor!  Please bring an item for the auction next week!!  New Greeters are Joe Schmidt, Ron Smith & Ron Solseth.  Golden-throat Bill Nevin leads us in song, and the one & only Jim Cook does double duty this week as auction & fine master.
