President's Weekly Message

What a wonderful start to Fall!  I hope you have a chance to get out and enjoy the fantastic weather this weekend and catch an eyeful of beautiful fall colors & warm breezes.

Thanks so much to Allison Lewis, Outreach Coordinator from Hennepin Technical College for her very informative and enjoyable presentation.  I was very pleasantly surprised to learn that a few of their programs have 100% job placement!  How wonderful!  Hennepin Technical College is a great alternative for students who don't intend to pursue college degrees as well as those that wish to keep their college costs under control. 

Hey Alan, the Shakopee history fine master questions were great fun - I kept my mouth shut because I knew all the answers. :-)  Doug - I did give the Shakopee fight song a try, although I went to Regina HS in Mpls.

This coming week our new exchange student, Cristi introduces herself and Art Quinn will enlighten us on the Rotary Foundation's great works.  Mark McNeill is back with his guitar to lead us in song and Ron Smith will pry a few bucks from our wallets as fine master.  Kevin Studnicka and Alan Spillers complete their run at the greeter table - so give them a pat on the back!  Hey Joe Schmidt - whose next on the roster??
