Good Friday Afternoon,

What a day! What a weekend we have in store! It doesn't get too much better than this. The Cubs winning the World Series...I could go on and on and most of you know that I could, but I will cut myself off.

Breakfast was a pretty good success this week. Everyone was smiling and I did not even notice a yawn. Please join us for the second 700am Breakfast meeting on Tuesday at Dangerfield's. I will make sure that we do not run out of coffee.

Lots of events are on the horizon. Next Thursday is our Canterbury Fundraiser. Please adjust your schedules to pitch in and work the concession areas as we raise funds for our operations budget. So far we have only 7 people signed up and we can add 5 more. I will bring the sign up sheet on Tuesday morning. On November 15th we have our Senior's Appreciation Luncheon at Turtles Social Club. On Thursday Dec 8th, we have our "almost" annual CAP Agency Toy and Gift cCard Drive at Stonebrooke. The following Thursday, December 15th is the Annual McNeills Holiday Party. Wow, lots happening!

Our Club has worked hard in setting up these 4 events, so please plan on making each one a success...it's what we do as Rotarians.

I was able to attend the St Louis Park and Chaska meetings this week and welcomed Jennifer Jones to the area. Great turnouts, but I have to be honest, it was only myself and Tammy that were able to attend. I think we need to support area Clubs more than we do...enough said.

Our next meeting will welcome Stephanie Smith with the Southern Valley Alliance for Battered Women. Please attend to make Stephanie welcomed by our Club and have a great breakfast. Remember we meet at 700am at Dangerfield's.

Next Meeting -
Song Master - Joe Helkamp
Fine Master - Jon McBroom
Greeter's Table - Linda Plum, Kathy Klehr and Tammy Laurent

Here's to everyone having great weekends and spending time with family and friends...its so important. We are Rotarians, we are difference makers, we serve when others do not and our Club's ability to add to the quality of life to others is the most important thing we can do. Never forget the impact that Rotary has had in our lifetimes, it is what we do. Be proud to be a part of this extraordinary group of people.

Please join us for Breakfast and look at your schedules to attend the fantastic events our Club has planned over the next several weeks.
