Shakopee Rotary Weekly

I'd like to thank Harold Armstrong for setting up our annual Valleyfair program. It's always a treat to visit our local attraction. This week we welcome Ron Smith with a program on the projects and visit he made to Columbia this Spring. Our club has supported these projects over the past few years. I'm excited to see some of the progress.
We have a meeting with STRIVE 2nd hour at SHS in the Lecture hall, Wednesday morning.
Be sure to mark your calendar's for our Fall Fling scheduled for Tuesday October 27th at 5:30 pm at Tammy and Gary Laurent's home. Charlie will have more details available this week.
Our district has run into a last minute problem for the Zone Institute this week. They desperately need more drivers to pick people up at the airport and get them downtown to the Marriott. It is tradition/custom for all District Governors in training to be personally picked up and returned to the airport. They have ended up short of drivers. If anyone can help, they would really appreciate it. Plus it's a fun time to meet a few new Rotarians for a few short minutes during the drive---they're all fun, nice people.
Here are the specifics below!
The Rotary Zone Institute urgently needs volunteer drivers to transport Rotarians from the airport and back next week.
