I hope everyone is getting their snow shoveling exercise in this week.  Thank you to Deb Erickson for arranging the program last week.  Mr. Driver is another example of the talent and dedication we have in our school district.  This week we welcome our very own Barb Brekke with a program on Dollars for Scholars.  Tim Whitcomb will be entertaining us as the fine master.

There will be a gambling meeting at 11:30 prior to the regular meeting.  Next week is our Valentines Social at Stonebrooke.  This will be in place of our regular lunch meeting.  If you are interested in joining us, please see Charlie Sunder or myself for details.  The social will begin at 6:00 with dinner and entertainment beginning at 7:00.  If you haven't done so, please bring a check for payment prior to the event.

On February 19, 2010, the Rotary Club of Minneapolis and the Rotary Club of Saint Paul – clubs #9 and #10 in the world! - will host a joint meeting to celebrate the Centennial of both clubs and the beginning of Rotary in Minnesota.  Keynote speaker at the Centennial Celebration Luncheon will be John Kenny, the president of Rotary International.
The Celebration will be at the McNamara Alumni Center on the University of Minnesota Minneapolis campus. Follow this link for registration information: http://www.mnrotarycentennial.com
Please register online.  You may register and pay for the event at http://www.mnrotarycentennial.com . Cost is $50 per person
