I hope everyone ejoyed their weekend.  It's amazing how well little kids sleep when they are outside playing all day.  Thank you to Amber Kahnke for introducing Dr. Daniel Gatlin and his presentation on colon cancer awareness last week.  This week we welcome Paul Schubring from Stonebrooke and a program on how to improve your golf game.  I'm going to take a guess and assume I'm not the only one who would benefit from some golf tips.

Thank you to Joe Schmidt for taking Karol to a Wild Hockey game.  Karol would still like to see a Timberwolves game if we still have any Timberwolves fans in the group.

Remember this Tuesday is our third club book collection.  The book sale site will be open for drop off at 11:30 prior to our lunch meeting.  The location is at the old Tobacco Warehouse in downtown Shakopee.  The address is 201 1st Avenue East.  Please do not bring your books to Dangerfield's.  We need to make a big push to collect as many books as possible for out upcoming sale.  Please pass this request onto your neighborhood, office and other groups you're involved in.

We need one volunteer to help me with the meat raffle this week.  6:00 at Arnie's.

Roadside Cleanup will take place on Wednesday, April 14th at 5:00.  This project usually takes about an hour and will most likely end with a social at Arnie's after.  Thank you to all that signed up.  Even if you're not able to help, feel free to stop in at Arnie's after.

Bridging will be April 24th.  We will need volunteers to help that morning from around 7:30 to noon.  Please see Lee Hennen for more details.

The Rotary 5050 district conference will take place on Friday May 14th and Saturday May 15th.  There will be several events and speakers to see including Irwin Jacobs.  I've attached the agenda and registration form on our downloads section of the home page.  Our club will reimubrse a portion of the registration fee up to $50.
