Raul Rehnborg (member) introduced this year’s STRIVE scholarship recipients during lunch at Dangerfield’s. We had 7 students earn the award for their attendance and improving their GPA in their senior year. We heard from 4 of the students today as they shared their personal stories of struggle and turning their lives around. They all thanked Rotary for receiving the money that will allow each of them to go on and pursue their dreams after high school. The passion they showed in their dialogues did not leave one dry eye in the audience! Truly today makes all of us proud to be Rotarians! A big thanks to the school counselors, Beth Cordes, Nicole Drangstveit and John Rose for their their support AND the leadership of Raul Rehnborg and Renee Hengemuhle of Valley Fair.
