Hello Shakopee Rotary,

I can count on one hand how many times I've been outside in shorts and a tee shirt on November 7th.  Wow this weather has been a treat!

I want to thank Deb Pierce and Patti Weber for coming in last week to present on their experience in the FBI and CIA.  That was a fantastic presentation, and thank you to Lee Larson for arranging that program!

I thank you to all members who came out to our annual New Member Open house last Thursday!  We had a great turn out from prospective members, and from our club membership!

A thank you to all members who came out and for those who invited a guest to attend.  A special thank you to Jean Wyatt, Lee Hennen, and Barb Brekke for sharing with the prospective members what Rotary means to them.  An extra special thank you to Barb Danielson who (once again) did a tremendous job in orchestrating the entire event!  I also want to thank Gary and Randy Laurent for hosting the event at Stonebrooke!  The entire event was full of positive energy, and great conversation!

This week we we have our highly anticipated fall auction event that our very own Jim Cook and Lee Hennen will MC.  Please remember to bring an item to auction off, and come prepared to have some fun!

Here are a some up coming dates to keep in mind.

1. November 16th: Tammy Kangas - Chanhassen Dinner Theater (Dangerfields)

2. November 23rd: Cindy Babcock - Feed My Starving Children(Dangerfields)

3. November 30th: Janice Novak - Posture, Get it Straight (Dangerfields)

(We will also be handing out perfect attendance awards this date)

4. December 7th: Earl Slack - Vocational presentation on Interactive Media & Graphic Design (Canterbury Inn)

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday!

Sincerely,

Robert Deuth
