Happy Monday Shakopee Rotary!
I hope everyone had a chance to get out to Shakopee Derby Days this past weekend. I was off making sure my brother said "I do" at his wedding, so I missed the festivities, but I heard that Derby Days was as much fun as it has ever been! A special thank you to our guest speaker Emma Ruthenbeck for coming in last week and sharing with us her excitement and anticipation surrounding her up coming trip abroad thru the Outbound Exchange program. I'm looking forward to the periodic updates from Emma throughout her time overseas. Thank you to Ron Smith for arranging that program!

We have a great program lined up for this week. We have the pleasure of having Kelly Ripley, sister of our very own Jason Marschall, come in and speak to us about the Northern Voices program.
Here is a quick rundown of some upcoming events:
August 17th: Teacher Luncheon at Canterbury Inn
August 24th: Club Assembly at Dangerfields, in addition, we have our boat cruise that evening.
September 21st: Valley Fair Day!!!
October 5th: District Governor, Larry Zilliox will be attending our meeting.
